REFLECTION

The whole Digital Photography and Imaging module had definitely taught me a lot of useful Adobe skills. The skills I've gained throughout the module exceeded my expectations, and the things that I've learnt definitely came in handy in a lot of things. Applications, other projects from other modules, all of these were made possible because of this module. Getting to start the module with a collage project tested the composition ability of students, as well as the research behind it. Speaking of research, it is actually one of the most important aspects into any design work, and throughout my 14 weeks, doing research made my life easier and getting inspired more quickly. Creating surreal works were fun too, as I get to see myself being edited into the Hearst Mansion, looking realistic with the Adobe Photoshop skills Mr Martin had taught. The final project was also an interesting one, as students gets to express themselves through elements they like, as well as a design style that suits them. Overall, this module was really helpful for me in many situations. I do believe the skills I've honed in the 14 weeks will be useful for me in the future.
